Thought you might like to see some of the food I eat.
Portia and Rofina taught me to make Pabala. It is a bean cake. You mix the bean flour with water and bitter salts.  You pour about a cup of the mixture in a plastic bag.  Tie the bag then boil for about 45 minutes. It has the texture of brown bread but tastes like beans. I love it.  You can eat it with a tomato stew or with the fresh veggies like I have shown here.
